He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1986 from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he also emerged as the Best graduating student. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and also a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology. A member of various associations such as the Nigerian Medical Council and the Medical Defence Union, Dr. Onome Ogueh was appointed the CMD of DELSUTH on the 5th of December, 2016. Before his appointment, he was a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Associate Medical Director with the Brighton and Sussex University Hospital in the United Kingdom. He also served as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School in Brighton, United Kingdom. In 2017, he was a member of the Delta State Strategic Health Development Plan II Technical Working Group. An Accomplished Academic, Dr. Ogueh has published over 49 publications internationally. He is married with 3 children.

An Alumni of the prestigious medical School of the University of Benin, Benin City, Dr. Newkwu E. Okolugbo graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. He had his housemanship in Central Hospital Benin and he was a Chief House Officer during this period. He carried out his residency training at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City in the Surgical Specialty of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT Surgery). He is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and also a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons. In 2009, Dr. Okolougbo carried out a Clinical Observership program and training with Professor Stambegger, a world-renown expert in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University, Graz in Austria. Subsequently, he obtained a Fellowship in Rhinology in 2009. He has been a member of the Sports Medical Committee of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) since September 2014. He is also a member of several professional bodies including the Otorhinolaryngological Society of Nigeria and the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. A widely traveled academic, Dr. Okolugbo, he is a recipient of many awards and he has published a book, several book chapters and several journals in both local and international journals. He is married with 2 children.

A Chief  Consultant  General Surgeon, Dr. Emmanuel Akpo is an alumnus of the University of Jos. He was the immediate past Head of the DELSUTH Department of the Surgery, a position he held for five years. He is a fellow of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria, Fellow of the International College of surgeons and fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also holds a Fellowship in Urology and a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery.
